Magnetic loop antennas,
APRS primarily used for disaster response and messaging,
Providing emergency communications for Emergency Management,
and preparing myself and community for total grid down scenarios.
I'll try to do better with updating this page more when I'm able.
Here are a couple of pictures of my loop.
It is obviously not finished yet or assembled.
Hopefully I can get it done soon.
The main loop is made of 1 1/2" aluminum tubing and is about 3 feet in diameter.
The intended bands will be 10 - 30 meters.
The driving loop is made of 1" x 1/4" copper and is about 7 inches in diameter.
My intentions are to make a better roller for the copper bar stock.
